Your meals with returnees provide a wonderful and natural occasion for such introspection. I hope you always do this. If it would be appropriate and possible to include some of these reflections in your blog, of course that could be wonderful for us back home. You have the edge in having their attention immediately after. I have to squeeze hard weeks later for those wonderful morsels.
